Diploma of Business
School Leavers Non-school leavers - HSC Pathway Non-school leavers - Alternative Pathways
Completion of the NSW Higher School Certificate, or its equivalent. Completion of the NSW Higher School Certificate, or its equivalent, within 5 years prior to application.

1. Completion, or substantial completion (75%), of an AQF Diploma or higher award from an Australian accredited educational institution; OR

2. Completion of an AQF Certificate III or IV course in a business studies area; OR

3. Submission of a personal statement* demonstrating suitability for tertiary level study providing:

a) Evidence of capability, including skills and attributes;

b) Evidence of employment and work experience, including level of responsibility and type of work;

c) Evidence of training and post-school learning (e.g. TAFE, VET);

d) Evidence of performance at secondary school;

e) Any other relevant evidence; and

f) Where appropriate, an interview with, and determination by, the Dean.

Completion of the NSW Higher School Certificate achieving a minimum ATAR score of 50, or an equivalent qualification. Completion of the NSW Higher School Certificate achieving a minimum ATAR score of 50, or an equivalent qualification, within 2 years prior to application.

1. Completion of a tertiary preparation course from a qualified provider; OR

2. Completion of at least one semester of full-time study (or part-time equivalent) at a registered Australian higher qualification provider at AQF Level 5 Diploma or higher; OR

3. Hold a STAT Multiple Choise test result of 120 or above; OR

4. Submission of a personal statement* demonstrating suitability for tertiary level study providing:

1) Evidence of capability, including skills and attributes;

b) Evidence of employment and work experience, including level of responsibility and type of work;

c) Evidence of training and post-school learning (e.g. TAFE, VET);

d) Evidence of performance at secondary school;

e) Any other relevant evidence; and

f) Where appropriate, an interview with, and determination by, the Dean.

* Evidence to satisfy entry through submission of a personal statement:
a) Work experience - Diploma, 2 years full-time paid employment; Bachelor, 5 years full-time paid employment. Work experience is to be in a business related field. Part-time equivalents are acceptable. 
b) Have completed TAFE, VET or professional development courses in a business studies area after completion of secondary school.
c) Have sound performance in English and Mathematics at secondary school. 
d) Have other relevant experience, such as military training or volunteer work.
