Where Tradition Meets Innovation: Smart Campus and Innovative Place to Learn the Law
Internationalisation is easy in a city like Sydney—one of the world’s great and most innovative and beautiful cities. The Sydney City School of Law within Top Education is situated in the Australia Technology Park, home of the Australian Innovation Centre and International Business Centre and situated right next to the Redfern train station with easy access by bus and close to the Sydney international airport.
We are developing a ‘Smart-Campus’ that gives students easy online access to an excellent law library and other resources required of a 21st Century lawyer.
Our specialist areas, such as Moot Court and computer rooms, will provide the context for learning specialist skills, while the coffee shops, adjoining park and other facilities on campus will ensure a rich learning environment both inside and outside the classroom.
Experiential Learning Opportunities and Internships
The Sydney City School of Law program places a premium on relating what students learn to the practice of law in its many and varied contexts. Our professors have significant legal practice experience and we will make every effort to relate theory to practice. We have already appointed a person to develop our ‘Internship Program’ helping to arrange placements with law firms, technology companies, businesses, government agencies and other entities so that students may put what they have learned in the classroom into practice in a real-world setting.
Enhancing Access and Enabling Success
The Sydney City School of Law (SCSL) has a special mission to provide access to and success in legal education to groups who have been under represented in the law progression. For this reason, you will find that our fees are reasonable and our admission procedures flexible. A number of full and partial scholarships are also available as well as other assistance.
A wide range of Student support services are also available to students.
