Dr Minshen Zhu has been Principal at Top since its inception in 2001. Dr Zhu completed his BA at Fudan University in China in 1982, and his PhD at the Australian National University in 1989. He taught at Fudan in 1982-1983, was the Principal of UNE International Academy 2001-2008, and Member of the NSW Government’s -Asia Business Council 2000-2010. Dr Zhu is appointed by the University of Sydney as Board Member of its Confucius Institute, and Senior Advisor (China Affairs) to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (International) since 2008. He has served Fudan University as the Honourable Member of the Board of Fudan University Alumni since 2009. Dr Zhu undertook an executive program of Crisis Leadership in Higher Education at Harvard Kennedy Government School and Harvard Graduate School of Education in 2010.

Emeritus Professor Flood has over 40 years experience in higher education including 9 years at the University of Queensland and 31 years at the University of New England and 3 years as Provost at TOP EDUCATION, Sydney. He has held academic management and executive positions including Head of Department, Head of School, Dean of Faculty, Pro Vice-Chancellor (research), Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research), Acting Deputy Vice-Chancellor (International) and Acting Vice-Chancellor. Professor Flood has a BSc University of New England, BSc Hons First Class UNE, MSc UNE, PhD University of Queensland, and IEM Harvard University. He has served as a Board Member of 4 Cooperative Research Centres, the National Marine Science Centre (Coffs Harbour), the Animal Genetics Breeding Unit, the International Livestock Resource and Information Centre Ltd, the Primary Industries Innovation Centre, the University of New England Rural Properties Board. He also served as the 2010 Chair of the National Steering Committee for Research Infrastructure in Earth and Geospatial Sciences of Auscope Ltd.

Prof Gibson has over 30 years experience in Universities including as Lecturer and Senior Lecturer of the University of Newcastle, Director of the Institute of Industrial Economics at the University of Newcastle, Associate Professor in Accounting of Murdoch University, and Professor in Accounting of University of New England. In addition to his role with TOP Education, he is currently a Conjoint Professor in the Newcastle Business School of the University of Newcastle. Prof Gibson has served on several accounting academic committees including the Australian Society of CPAs National Accreditation Sub Committee. He is also a Past President and a Wilford White Fellow of the International Council for Small Business (ICSB) and the current President of the Small Enterprise Association of Australia and New Zealand (SEAANZ). His primary research achievements are in the area of the management (especially financial management, accounting and governance) of small enterprises (privately held firms). Research outcomes include 27 refereed journal publications, 59 refereed conference presentations, 34 other publications (including papers in books) and presentations, and involvement in research projects with funding of $225,000. He is currently Consulting Editor of Small Enterprise Research (the journal of SEAANZ) and an editorial board member on several other international journals.

Leanne has over ten years experience in international education marketing and has experience in the higher education, ELICOS and VET sectors. She has worked at a number of universities and colleges in Sydney, Canberra and Brisbane. A graduate of the University of New England with a Bachelor of Arts degree, Leanne completed her MBA in marketing at UTS in 2002.
