How to Apply Direct

Below, we have outlined the steps of our application process. If you require any assistance along the way or have any questions please contact our Admissions Team by emailing: application@top.edu.au

1. Search relevant undergraduate or postgraduate courses that interest you.

School:
Click on either School of Law or School of Business for the relevant courses that suit your study interests.

Location:
All courses indicate our campus location.

Entry requirement:
All courses have entry requirements listed that applicants need to meet and prepare for.

2. Apply now online

Please click HERE to get started.

For all new applicants, click Register for New Account to create your account. You will then be guided to input your relevant personal information needed for your application. You will be able to track the application process accordingly.

Domestic applicants:
Select Domestic Application. Upload any relevant documentation as evidence you meet the required entry requirements for your chosen course. Some of our courses offers FEE-HELP for eligible applicants. To apply for FEE-HELP you will need your Tax File Number and your Australian passport for proof of eligibility.

International applicants:
Select International Application. Prepare and upload any relevant documents including your passport, English proficiency evidence and all relevant academic documents. You also may need to prepare a Statement of Purpose if required.

Scholarships:
If you are applying for a scholarship, simply click Scholarships for more information. You can apply for a scholarship when submitting your application. You are required to accept the relevant Terms and Conditions when applying for scholarship.

Advanced Standing:
If you wish to apply for Advanced Standing (Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)), first read our RPL Policy found in our Policy Register.
Select Advanced Standing when submitting your application. Our team will then process your application based on the relevant academic documents you provide.

Adjustment Factors:
Some of our courses offer Adjustment Factors to domestic applicants for undergraduate courses. For more details on eligibility, please contact our recruitment team for more information.

Key dates:
Refer to our key dates online. Please ensure you submit your application before the enrolment deadline for each intake.

3. Assessment process

After you submit your application, our team will be notified and we will start to process it.
Below are the outcomes of an application:

Conditional approval:
Conditional Approval suggests that you have met the basic requirements and a conditional offer letter is provided to you with a number of conditions attached. The reason for this may be that of some of the documents you have submitted/provided is incomplete, or under a pathway etc. You will need to provide the missing information to meet the conditions to progress your application further.

Full offer:
All the documents and qualifications have met the required entry requirements.

Refused:
After assessing all the documents provided by you, we would have found you’re you have not met our requirement for the course selected. We will then notify you that your application is unsuccessful. You can discuss your application further with our Student Recruitment Team or Admissions Team by phone or email. The process will be terminated at this point.

4. Accept Your Offer

You will receive an email notification with 2 working days if your offer is approved. The email contains your student number and password. You will then be able to log into the student portal.  

After logging into the student portal you will be asked to confirm your application information and you will need to provide your emergency contact information. You will then be guided to read the Terms and Conditions and finally, Accept Your Offer.

5. Payment

You will then be guided to the payment page. You are welcome to arrange the payment directly online or contact our Finance team via email at: fees@top.edu.au

For International Students, an eCOE (Confirmation of Enrolment) will be provided for your student visa process given that your offer has met all the conditions.

For Domestic FEE-HELP students, payment will not be charged until the official FEE-HELP form is completed during the orientation period. Domestic students will need to bring their Australian passport and Tax File Number on Orientation Day.

6. Enrolment

You will receive an email from us about orientation details. On orientation Day you will be able to officially enrol in your subjects. After registration at our Reception Office, you will take a photo for your student card, have a tour of the campus, receive course advice and then finally enrol in your subjects.
