The completion of a three-year Australian bachelor’s degree in any field or a master’s degree in any field is required. International students with equivalent qualifications are eligible. Applicants holding a business-related Australian bachelor’s or master’s degree may be eligible for exemptions. Applicants with at least five year’s financial planning experience and no degree may be eligible for entry through the Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma.
IELTS Academic A minimum overall score of 6.5 with no individual band less than 6.0.
Recognition of prior learning (RPL) is available and will be assessed in accordance with TOP's RPL Policy. Please refer to the RPL Policy document and the Application for Credit Recognition form for further details.
The course structure consists of one semester of 12 week’s duration followed by an exam period. Four units each semester is a standard full-time workload. To qualify for the award of Graduate Certificate in Financial Planning, a candidate must complete TFIN605 and three units from five available units (16 credit points).
