Postgraduate Preparation Program

The Postgraduate Preparation Program is a non-award course that provides a pathway into all of TOP’s postgraduate business courses for applicants who may not qualify for direct entry into their preferred postgraduate course in the fields of Management and Commerce at TOP and for those applicants who want to build a solid base of knowledge and skills to enable transition to postgraduate business study.

Many years of experience in higher education have shown that international students often lack generic knowledge and skills at an appropriate level to successfully complete postgraduate business studies in Australia. The Australian cultural and educational environment can be a challenge for some international students.

This non-award course is designed to expose students to the higher education environment in Australia and equip students with personal, cultural and communication skills, together with fundamental business knowledge, required for success in postgraduate study in Australia and ultimately successful entry to the workforce.
