This unit introduces students to the theoretical foundations and applications involved in public relations management: processes, strategies and tactics. It aims to provide students with a theoretical understanding, the knowledge and skill set of strategic planning for public relations.
The unit encompasses how strategic public relations contributes to overall business strategy and the importance of strategic communication. Students will learn how to design a public relations strategy in order to manage relationships between the organisations and all its various publics and stakeholders.
