This unit aims to provide students with an introduction to the field of e-commerce, which is now a pervasive business model that embraces many fields including technology, marketing, analytics, security and strategy. Each of these perspectives is introduced in this unit with the expectation that students will study each in detail in later units within the e-commerce sequence. Regular quizzes will provide students with feedback on their learning progress with a capstone assignment requiring students to take an existing business and develop an e-commerce strategic plan based on given parameters.
