This unit aims to provide students with an understanding of the behaviour of people at work. This includes an understanding of individual and group behaviour, and their influence on organisation and performance. This unit will focus on concepts and theories related to individual and group behaviour, including attitude, personality, emotion, perception, diversity, leadership, power, politics, motivation, organisation culture and many more interesting topics.
In addition to providing students with a theoretical grounding in organisational behaviour, this unit also aims at developing student skills in applying these concepts and theories in practical context and to develop the ability to analyse organisational issues and problems.
